“Dusting off” the classics is always a good idea. Reading them is, paradoxically, to be updated in what has been throughout the time of the history of literature.
Given their importance, this time we bring you a special collection of classic novels in PDF format, with which you can cross off your pending readings.
But, after all, what are classic novels? A definition widely accepted by common literary scholars is the following:
“They are works of great relevance that have been able to transcend the barriers of time and are still popular today.” That’s why a classic novel feels relatable when we read it.
Another reason why classic novels never go out of fashion is that they deal with universal themes that will always interest the reading public, such as love, war conflicts, the triumph of good over evil, and social or moral issues, among others.
We hope you enjoy to the fullest this super collection of more than 40 classic novels in PDF format that we have compiled for you to catch up with your pending readings.

1) Don Quixote
Author: Miguel de Cervantes
Full title of part 1 “Don Quixote” and part 2 “Second Part of Don Quixote”, novel published in: part one in 1605 and part two in 1615.
Don Quixote is one of the most widely-read classics of Western literature. Originally conceived as a parody of the chivalric romances that had long been in literary vogue, it realistically describes what happens to an elderly knight who, confused by the reading of such romances, embarks on his old horse Rocinante, with his pragmatic squire, Sancho Panza, to seek adventure.

3) Great Expectations
Author: Charles Dickens
Great Expectations is one of the most famous titles of the great English author. Originally published in 1860, it tells the story of Pip, an orphaned and fearful young man, whose humble destiny is graced by an unexpected benefactor who will change the fate of his life and make him a gentleman.
A wonderful novel of apprenticeship and a masterful gallery of protagonists who draw a finished portrait of the period, at the same time as a deep reflection on the constants of the human condition.
The reality of everyday life in England and fantasy go hand in hand, showing us an extraordinarily human and detailed world and the peculiar psychology of the characters.
